@sklawlor: Thanks, Scott. I was in a hurry when I added this and missed some of the finer points. Downloadable & CC in place.

The game I ended up with for this LD is perhaps something that neither I nor any of you expected. Questionably related to the theme it turned out to be a game all about listening, as well as a test on your patient. Many have pointed out that it is difficult to understand what is happening, but maybe that just adds to the atmosphere. I mean who wouldn’t be disoriented in a completely dark room?

After my participation in LD32 (my first!) I experienced the pain of having limited time to work on making some cool mechanics, art and audio, only to realize at the last minute that I didn’t have time for basic functionality like a menu, pause screen and music and sound options.  Since I would like to be able to use these things myself in the next jam I decided to make a template package that’s publicly available for everyone to use, and since in between making jam games I work at Unity as part of the online content team (we make the tutorials for the Unity learn site )  we decided to publish it as an Official Unity Thing™.

Kmembert (Camembert: A delicious french cheese) is a  puzzle/infiltration/action game  . The gameplay is quite simple: You are a cheese and you have to kill all nazi mice in one shoot. Get the cannon bullet and trick the mice in order to kill them all in a single shoot.  9 levels  are playable. HAVE FUN ^^!

It was  my first Ludum Dare compo.  I just be informed of the event 4 days ago. My weekend was busy but I was motivated to create a simple game saturday morning with the theme “You only get one”. I already participed to the “Global Game Jam” twice, but the Ludum Dare is a different challenge.
I cumulate  17 hours  of work for this game.

I found the idea in the first minutes: Get the  only one bullet , trick the enemies to manage to kill them all in a single shoot.
The controls are simple and the top view allows to create less graphic assets and less code. I’m a big fan of “Metal gear solid” and I recently played “Hotline Miami”. So I unconsciously designed game mechanics with this game in my mind. I always wanted to design a game like Metal Gear Solid :). Therefore mice can run after you if they see you and you can play with the doors.

Warmup Weekend – Ludum Dare 28 Posted by PoV (twitter: @mikekasprzak ) December 5th, 2013 9:41 am As another Ludum Dare looms, it’s time again for Warmup Weekend!

So! Did you somehow skip all the jams going on these past few weeks? Then between now and Ludum Dare 28′s start time, you should probably make sure that your tools work. Make some art, import it, and draw it on screen. Make some sounds, import them, and play them on cue. If you’re using a new development tool, figure out the development cycle. Learn how to make a release too!

Hello!! Don’t forget to upload your Ludum Dare Warm Up game to the TAGJam ( http://ratalaika.com/tag-arbitrary-gamejam/ ) maybe you can win it and get some traffic on your website 😀
